Privacy Policy – The Decider

Last Updated: August 9, 2026

Last updated: 8 August 2026

The Decider is published by Dendro Logic Ltd (“we”, “us”). This policy explains
what data the app handles and why. The short version: your deciders and settings
never leave your device. The only data that leaves the device relates to showing
ads and processing the optional Remove Ads purchase.

Data stored on your device only

Your deciders (titles and options), sound and display settings, and your
ad-free status are stored locally on your device. We cannot see them, and they
are not sent to us or anyone else. Deleting the app deletes them.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of the app shows a banner ad served by Google AdMob. To serve
and measure ads, Google may collect device identifiers (such as the Android
advertising ID), IP address, and ad interaction data (such as impressions and
clicks).

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, the app asks for your
consent choices before any ad is requested, using Google’s consent framework. You
can change your choices at any time via “Ad Privacy Options” in the app’s settings
menu. If you do not consent, the app does not request ads.

How Google uses this data is described at
policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Buying Remove Ads stops the app requesting ads entirely.

Purchases (RevenueCat and Google Play)

The Remove Ads purchase is processed by Google Play and managed through
RevenueCat, a purchase infrastructure service. RevenueCat receives the purchase
token and an anonymous app-generated identifier so your entitlement can be
verified and restored. We do not receive your name, email address, or payment
details. RevenueCat’s privacy policy is at
revenuecat.com/privacy.

Crash and error diagnostics

To fix faults quickly, a release build may report crashes and errors to Sentry,
a diagnostics service. A report contains technical details of the failure (the
error and where in the app it happened, plus basic device and app-version
information). It does not include your deciders, your settings, your name, or your
email address. Reports carry no personal identifiers.

What we do not do

  • No accounts, and no registration.
  • We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, or precise location.
  • We do not sell data.
  • The app is not directed at children under 13.

Your rights

UK and EU users have rights over personal data, including access and erasure.
The personal data involved here is held by Google (advertising) and RevenueCat
(purchases) as described above. Ad consent can be changed in the app at any time.
For anything else, contact us and we will help.
